4th of July weekend!

FYI This post is coming from my new blackberry! It's the best little toy ever! Ok anyway, so it was a great 4th weekend at Jeff's dad's house in Minnesota, except Jeff didn't get to come. His stupid hours have him working Saturdays. It was Carter's first trip to grandma and grandpa's lake place. He wasn't really digging the swimming on Friday but he was ok by Saturday. Unfortunately we didn't spend much time in the water due to the 'swimmer's itch' that was so bad this year. The little bit of time that we were in the water we were on a huge party raft. We got to watch fireworks on the lake Friday and Saturday night, apparently some people out there got some money! So it was a great weekend and now I just can't wait ti get home to Jeff and my own bed!
